CAWRA IDE The first IDE with a built-in orchestrator andmulti-provider artificial intelligence
Choose Grok, OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or Ollama: CAWRA automatically routes the best model per phase — plan, code, verify, vision — with checkpoints, TestGate, and parallel sub-agents. Free, registration only.
The first IDE with a built-in orchestrator
No other editor combines a task orchestration engine with DAG planning, execution queues, automatic verification, and model routing in a single native workflow.
Define the goal
Describe the task in natural language: refactor, feature, bugfix, research, or deployment.
Intelligent planning
The orchestrator breaks the goal into subtasks with dependencies (DAG), detects ambiguities, and asks for clarification when needed.
Parallel execution
Parallel sub-agents with file locks, checkpoint resume, and expanded context (16 files / 96k characters).
Verification and delivery
TestGate requires detected tests; visual QA and built-in CI validate results before marking tasks complete.
Dependency graph
Visualize the plan as an interactive graph. Each node is a subtask with status, assigned model, and real-time progress.
Workflow Engine
Flow engine with clarification, research, implementation, review, and deliverable verification phases.
Sub-agents
Launch specialized sub-agents that work in parallel on different files without conflicts thanks to the lock system.
What's new in CAWRA IDE 1.5
The biggest update yet: multi-provider AI, a stronger orchestrator, and reinforced security.
Multi-provider AI
Grok, OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and Ollama. «Providers & models» panel with role routing and configurable fallback.
Improved orchestrator
Resumable checkpoints, TestGate, parallel sub-agents with locks, and multi-stack eval harness (web, backend, desktop, mobile).
Reinforced security
Workspace-confined writes, SSRF blocking, diff approval, and supervised | autonomous profiles.
Secure API keys
Keys stored in the IDE SecretStorage, not in plain-text config files.
Choose your provider. CAWRA routes the best model per phase.
You're no longer limited to a single provider. Configure the API keys you want and let the ModelRouter automatically assign the optimal model to each role: planner, executor, chat, vision, and more.
Supported providers
CAWRA: Providers & models panel — configure providers, assign models by role, and set fallback if the primary fails.
Automatic role-based routing
Planning, code analysis, review, and logical verification.
Code implementation, multi-file editing, and change composition.
Real-time ghost-text autocomplete with minimal latency.
Visual UI verification, screenshots, and design.
Prompt enhancement and context preparation before execution.
General conversation, explanations, and interactive assistance.
How does routing work?
- Each orchestrator phase declares a role: planner, executor, verifier, vision…
- The ModelPool maintains clients per provider and manages parallel execution queues.
- Parameters (temperature, tokens) are adjusted automatically by role.
- Configurable fallback: if the primary provider fails, CAWRA tries the next one.
- Token tracking per model and provider for usage transparency.
Full control over what AI can do
CAWRA 1.5 strengthens security without sacrificing productivity: you choose the autonomy level.
Confined writes
Agents can only modify files within the open workspace.
SSRF protection
Blocks private networks and cloud metadata in web fetch.
Diff approval
Review and approve changes before they are applied to your code.
Autonomy profiles
Supervised mode (approve each step) or autonomous (smooth execution with safeguards).
Local, remote cloud, and GitHub
Work wherever you want. CAWRA IDE adapts to your environment without changing tools.
Local mode
Run agents, terminal, and tools directly on your Windows machine. Ideal for offline development and private projects.
Remote host (SSH)
Connect to remote servers via SSH. The orchestrator runs commands and edits files in the cloud as if they were local.
GitHub connection
Native GitHub integration: authentication, repos, pull requests, and collaborative workflows from the IDE.
CAWRA IDE is based on Visual Studio Code (VSCodium) with deep modifications: native AI extension, embedded orchestrator, task graph panel, and full rebranding. Compatible with VS Code extensions.
