Terms of use
1. Acceptance of terms
By registering, downloading, installing, or using CAWRA IDE, you declare that you have read, understood, and fully accepted these terms of use, as well as the privacy policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the software.
2. Nature of the software
CAWRA IDE is a development tool that combines:
- An integrated development environment (IDE), based on a modified fork of Visual Studio Code, with extended functionality.
- A project and task orchestrator, designed to coordinate workflows, automate development tasks, and facilitate software project management through artificial intelligence.
Black Mamba System SL provides only the tool, its interface, and the operating mechanisms of the software. We do not provide development services, consulting, legal advice, or supervision of how each user uses the tool.
3. License of use
After free registration, the user is granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to download and use CAWRA IDE. The software is distributed at no license cost, except for the user's own expenses (for example, third-party APIs).
4. User responsibility
The user is the sole responsible party for their use of CAWRA IDE, including, without limitation:
- The code, projects, instructions, prompts, or tasks requested from the orchestrator or integrated AI models.
- The results generated by the software, whether text, code, configurations, deployments, or any other content.
- The review, validation, and final approval of all material produced or modified with the tool.
- Compliance with applicable legislation in their country of residence and in any jurisdiction where the software results are used.
CAWRA IDE is an assistance tool. It does not replace the user's professional, technical, or legal judgment. You must always verify the accuracy, security, and legality of what you develop, execute, or publish.
5. Disclaimer of liability for IDE and AI use
By downloading and using CAWRA IDE, the user expressly accepts that Black Mamba System SL is exempt from liability for:
- The content, quality, legality, or consequences of the instructions the user provides to the orchestrator or AI models.
- Actions performed with the software, whether automatic, semi-automatic, or manual.
- Direct or indirect damages arising from the use or misuse of the tool, including data loss, business interruption, security vulnerabilities, infringement of third-party rights, or regulatory non-compliance.
- Decisions made by the user based on suggestions, autocompletions, refactorings, or responses generated by the system.
We only provide the operating framework of the IDE and orchestrator. We do not control, supervise, or assume any responsibility for what the user requests, generates, executes, deploys, or publishes with the tool.
6. Lawful use and prohibitions
The user agrees to use CAWRA IDE responsibly and in compliance with applicable law worldwide, to the extent applicable to them. It is expressly prohibited to use the software for:
- Illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, discriminatory activities, or activities that violate third-party rights.
- Developing, facilitating, or distributing malware, exploits, unauthorized intrusion tools, or any software intended to harm systems or people.
- Circumventing security measures, accessing computer systems without authorization, or processing personal data without a legal basis.
- Generating content that infringes intellectual property, trade secrets, export regulations, data protection, or any other applicable regulation.
- Reselling, sublicensing, or redistributing the installer for commercial purposes without express authorization from Black Mamba System SL.
Failure to comply with these conditions may result in revocation of access to downloads and updates, without prejudice to any legal actions that may apply.
7. Grok API (xAI) and third-party services
CAWRA IDE may integrate with third-party services, such as the Grok API from xAI. The user must provide and manage their own credentials. The costs, limits, conditions, and data processing of such services are the exclusive responsibility of the user and the external provider.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, absence of errors, or uninterrupted availability.
We do not guarantee that AI responses are correct, complete, up to date, or free of bias. The user uses the software at their own risk.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Black Mamba System SL shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data loss, or loss of reputation, arising from the use or inability to use CAWRA IDE.
10. Registration data
Registration requires personal, tax, and contact details for account management and software download purposes, in accordance with our privacy policy.
11. Modifications
We may update these terms at any time. The version published on this page shall be the current version. Continued use of the software after changes implies acceptance of the new terms.
